Renner Lutheran Church is involved in numerous outreach ministries.
RLC is one of the ELCA congregations which is part of Charis Ministries of Sioux Falls. Charis Ministries includes the following outreach organizations:
- Food to You, a mobile food pantry which distributes every Thursday at one of the four following ELCA congregations in Sioux Falls: Eastside Lutheran, Messiah New Hope Lutheran, Augustana Lutheran, and St. John Lutheran.

- Healthy Rides
